A Rooftop Dinner at Hudson Table


I had the joy of photographing and experiencing one of Hoboken’s most beautifully curated gatherings — a rooftop dinner at Hudson Table that blended stunning views, elevated florals, and delicious food into one unforgettable evening. Perched above Hoboken with sweeping views of the city, the event unfolded just as the sun began melting into the horizon. Beautiful floral centerpieces and accent blooms from Floralaine decorated the tables and complemented the space perfectly, creating an atmosphere that felt both romantic and effortless. From the moment guests stepped onto the rooftop, the combination of sunset colors and floral artistry set the tone for a night filled with celebration and connection.

Culinary Craft IRL


One of the highlights of the night (at least from behind my camera lens) was watching the chefs at work. Positioned within view of guests, they prepared and plated course after course right before our eyes. The energy of seeing ingredients transformed into beautifully plated dishes made every click of the shutter exciting. The meal unfolded with generous family style platters that were laid out for guests. Some of the food included:

  • First Course: Bruschetta Crostinis, Saffron Arancini, Watermelon Feta Bites, Herb Falaffel
  • Second Course: Crispy Chicken Schnitzel, Tender Hanger Steak, Baked Za’atar Salmon
  • Third Course: Basque Cheesecake and Carrot Cake

Each dish was a joy to photograph — the colors, the textures, and the smiles as guests filled their plates.

Music, Drinks, and Feel-Good Vibes


As the evening unfolded, live music from Gravy Train filled the rooftop with an easy, soulful rhythm. Guests moved fluidly between conversations and the indoor and outdoor spaces, catching up with old friends while making new connections throughout the night. Laughter and conversation mixed with the music as everyone enjoyed cocktails and mocktails from The Archer Bar and grazed on flavorful bites. Whether gathered around tables indoors or mingling under the open sky, the energy stayed warm, lively, and effortlessly celebratory all evening long.
