Love is Brewing Coffee Bridal Shower | The Boathouse at Mercer Lake
Love was brewing at this unforgettable coffee-themed bridal shower celebrating two incredible brides-to-be. From the moment guests walked in to The Boathouse at Mercer Lake, every detail felt warm, inviting, and perfectly curated — like stepping into the chicest boho coffee shop dream.
The shower embraced a rich coffee-inspired color palette filled with creamy neutrals, mocha tones, soft browns, and warm caramel accents that carried beautifully throughout the entire space. Two stunning balloon arches framed the celebration and created the perfect backdrop for photos, adding a playful yet elevated touch to the decor.
One of my favorite details were the incredible tablescapes. The tables were layered with fresh boho-inspired florals (from Crest Florist), scattered coffee beans, textured chargers, and the cutest personalized place cards which were coffee sleeves wrapped around napkins. Every inch felt thoughtful and while still keeping the cozy and chic coffeehouse vibe alive. The guests even showed up in different shades of brown too!

At the center of the room sat the brides’ boho lounge setup. Paired with a cozy coffee shop-style couch for guests to gather around, the setup created the perfect atmosphere for photos, games, and heartfelt moments between family and friends.
And then there was the dessert display — arguably everyone’s favorite stop of the afternoon. The table featured personalized latte-inspired cookies, a biscotti adorned cake by Storybook Cakes, adorable coffee cup cake pops, monogrammed tiramisu, and just about every sweet treat imaginable. It was equal parts delicious and aesthetically perfect.

The energy throughout the shower was nonstop fun. Guests tested their knowledge of coffee-themed puns, showed off their creativity during the classic toilet paper wedding dress challenge, and “guessed the coffee beans” carefully placed in a mason jar.
Most importantly, the day celebrated two brides surrounded by so much love, joy, and support. Between the cozy details, meaningful moments, and endless creativity, this bridal shower was the perfect reminder that the best love stories — just like the best coffee — are meant to be shared.
